We understand our shelves and lumberyard may not look the same these days. The COVID19 pandemic has caused disruptions in our supply chain. Many of our suppliers, from Quebec, Ontario, US and China were faced with lockdowns, reduced labour for production, or in some instances, their manufacturing plants were converted to supply COVID19 related needs. Each supplier has gone through their unique story of COVID19. With restrictions slowly being lifted we are seeing the effects of raw material, labour and distribution shortages, and it is around the world. What we are seeing today is simply an imbalance between production and consumer consumption, similar to the toilet paper shortage in the early COVID19 days.
Today, we are in constant communication with our suppliers regarding product requirements, product forecasts and are better able to project product shortfalls and look for other options to ensure you are taken care of.
Our best advice to anyone planning construction projects or home renovations, is to plan ahead. Start making your product selections early and place your orders weeks in advance.
We have enjoyed working with you over the past few months and have appreciated your patience with us as we moved through the constant changes of COVID19. Let’s continue to be safe and enjoy a great summer of construction!

The safety of our staff and customers remain our top priority. While we remain open to serve our contractor and retail customers for important and essential items, all customers must keep to a safe social distance. In order to minimize close contact with others, customers who did not come in together must maintain a two metre distance between themselves and other members of the public. Customers will now see social distancing signage and floor markers in all M&Y locations to ensure everyone's safety.
