Owens Corning® Thermafiber® Fire & Sound Guard® Plus is the first hybrid mineral wool batt insulation that offers excellent thermal performance, noise control and fire resistance in one product, streamlining installation.

Fire & Sound Guard® Plus offers superior sound-proofing properties for a wide range of applications, including interior and exterior walls, ceilings, basement walls, and crawl spaces. This high-performing product is non-combustible, moisture-resistant, non-corrosive, non-deteriorating, and mould-resistant.

Engineered for hassle-free, professional-grade results in even the tightest spaces, Owens Corning® Thermafiber® Fire & Sound Guard® Plus insulation is easy to cut with a serrated knife for custom fitting around electrical boxes, pipes, duct-work, wiring, or between non-standard studs and joists. This insulation is flexible and pliable; simply squeeze the sides to compress the insulation and insert into the desired steel stud wall. Once in place, Fire & Sound Guard® Plus insulation naturally expands to fill in the space, creating a snug, custom fit.
