Pressure treated brown lumber with a new generation of copper-based wood preservative, Micronized Copper Azole (MCA), reduces the environmental footprint of MicroPro Sienna to less than half that of traditional treated wood.

Specifically formulated to meet CSA guidelines as a wood preservative and specific to Canadian species and use conditions. MicroPro Sienna uses innovative micronized pigment technology to give the wood a warm natural brown tone that enhances its grain and natural characteristics. Designed to meet the style demands of outdoor living, it offers a rich, finished look that complements today’s deck furniture and furnishings. Can also be used in fresh water such as docks and to construct raised garden beds as the MicroPro treated wood process is certified by Scientific Certification Systems, Inc as an Environmentally Preferable Product.

When installing deck boards, should the wood become wet during construction, it is recommended to butt deck boards together. As drying occurs, some shrinkage can be expected. If the wood is dry, allowing for shrinkage is not necessary.
